Michael Logan

Michael Logan is currently a Judge Advocate in Army National Guard. During his time as a Judge Advocate, he has advised Soldiers on various matters including criminal proceedings and administrative actions. Today, he represents service members and Veterans worldwide in high-stakes cases that impact their freedom, careers, benefits, reputation, and personal relationships.
A native Virginian, Michael knew early on that he wanted to serve in the United States Military. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in International Studies from the Virginia Military Institute. Upon graduation, Michael accepted a commission as a logistic officer and served in multiple company grade positions leading Soldiers. During his time as a logistician, Michael was able to serve in positions fulfilling the domestic mission of the National Guard. He spent time in the U.S. Virgin Islands running humanitarian distribution missions after hurricanes Irma and Maria and later served as a National Guard liaison to the state of Virginia during the COVID-19 response.
While continuing his service in the National Guard, Michael earned his Juris Doctor from Campbell University School of Law. While at Campbell, Michael advanced to the ABA’s National Negotiation Competition. Michael began his legal career as a public defender in Virginia. He worked to gain his clients’ trust by always providing candid advice and effectively communicating the client’s story. Michael has extensive experience as a litigator, having represented hundreds of clients at all levels of Virginia’s trial court system.
When not practicing law, Michael enjoys exploring new places and foods with his family. He is an amateur home chef pursuing the perfectly seared steak.
