Kathy Haywood

Kathy Haywood brings an extensive combination of military service, education, and experience working closely with Veterans on transition and benefits issues to Capovilla & Williams.  She, assisting in the initial eligibility evaluation, as well as each stage of the application and appeals process.

Kathy served in the United States Air Force as a Communications Navigations Mission Systems Technician before transitioning to investigative and analyst positions at both county and municipal law enforcement agencies.  Prior to joining the firm, she worked as the Site Lead VA Benefits Advisor at Offutt AFB in Nebraska.

A true advocate for those who have served our country, Kathy has been involved in Veterans programs at numerous installations over the past twenty plus years.  (Her husband is in his twenty second year in the Air Force.)

Kathy earned her Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice from the University of West Florida.  In her spare time, she enjoys woodworking, hiking, and trying new hobbies.
