Christopher D. Jones

Attorney at Law
Colonel, U.S.A.F. (ret.)

Christopher D. Jones

Christopher Jones is a retired Air Force Colonel with a 20-year history of exceptional work in the areas of military and federal employment law.  Besides litigating and managing hundreds of military criminal law cases around the world, Chris oversaw employee discipline cases and EEOC investigations for both the United States Air Force, United States Central Command, and the Department of Veterans Affairs. Chris then served as General Counsel at the Air Reserve Personnel Center where he led his team to consecutive Legal Office of the Year distinctions and served as an example of excellence across the Department of Defense.   Today, he brings all of this experience and knowledge to federal employees and military members, representing individuals in high-stakes federal employment litigation and administrative law matters as well as serious military criminal cases.

Chris’ personal recognitions are a testament to both his deep subject matter knowledge and unwavering commitment to the legal process and those he represents.  They include 11 Outstanding Unit and Organizational Excellence Awards, 5 Meritorious Service Medals, and the Legion of Merit (7th highest military award).  He was also ranked #1/28 of Air Force Judge Advocate General School instructors, #2/53 of Lieutenant Colonels at Beale AFB, and #1/12 of Employment Lawyers.

A native of California, Chris received his Bachelor of Science from Santa Clara University before earning his Juris Doctor from the University of Connecticut School of Law.  He later obtained a Master of Laws in Labor and Employment from the prestigious George Washington University, and graduated with highest honors.

Notwithstanding his significant achievements in the military and government sectors, Chris is most proud of his lifelong commitment to integrity and honesty in the variety of positions he’s held over the past two decades.

“I’ve always believed the foundation of great legal work is a deep understanding of the client’s goals as well as a steadfast commitment to doing the right thing. Everyone deserves an advocate and someone in their corner, and I take pride in representing my clients and ensuring they have the strongest case possible.”  – Chris Jones

When not practicing law, Chris enjoys quality time with his family, including cheering on his children in tennis matches, gymnastics competitions, and soccer games.
