Amanda Dominick

Attorney at Law

Amanda Dominick

Amanda Dominick is an attorney in the firm’s Veterans Affairs Practice Group and also supports the firm’s Federal Tort Claims Division.  She brings more than a decade of experience in VA claims as well as high-stakes personal injury and medical malpractice litigation.

Amanda’s passion for representing those who put themselves in harm’s way developed early in life.  Her father was a proud member of the New York City Fire Department and was one of the first heroes to respond to the Twin Towers on 9-11.   Representing military service members in cases affecting their futures is a natural fit for both her skillset and her gratitude for the sacrifice Veterans and their families have made for our country.

“The best part of my job is helping Veterans not only understand the process, but also recognize that their service to our country is appreciated and that there is a legal team working for them that is totally committed to ensuring they receive all the benefits to which they are entitled.” – Amanda Dominick

Amanda earned her Juris Doctor from the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University.  She also holds a Bachelors degree in Legal Studies from St. John’s University and an Associates degree in Paralegal Studies from Suffolk County Community College.  Before joining Capovilla & Williams, she worked at several law firms in New York and Florida, the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York, and the Political Asylum Clinic at Hofstra Law School.
